Everything you need to know
We answer the most common questions before your visit to Calabajío. Still have one? Call us on +34 665 633 889.
Where is Calabajío Restaurant?
We’re right on Playa del Calabajío, in Velilla-Taramay (Almuñécar, Granada), in the heart of the Costa Tropical and just minutes from both Almuñécar town and La Herradura. Address: Playa, Cam. de la Galera, 18690 Velilla-Taramay, Almuñécar.
Does the restaurant have sea views?
Yes. All of our areas —restaurant, terrace, bar and chill-out— face the Mediterranean, so wherever you sit you’ll have the sea in front of you and, at sunset, some of the best views around.
What kind of cuisine do you serve?
Mediterranean fusion cuisine with oriental and Italian accents: fresh fish of the day, bluefin tuna, slow-cooked rices, aged meats and vegetarian and vegan options. Costa Tropical produce, made fresh every day.
What are your opening hours?
We open every day of the year, in two services: 13:00–16:30 and 20:00–24:00. Thanks to Almuñécar’s warm climate, you can enjoy us 365 days a year.
Do I need to book a table?
We recommend it, especially at weekends, on public holidays and in summer. You can book online from our website or by calling +34 665 633 889.
Are there vegetarian, vegan and allergen-friendly options?
Yes. We have vegetarian and vegan dishes, and our menu includes allergen information. We adapt dishes whenever possible — just let us know when you book or when you arrive.
Do you have a kids menu?
Yes, we have options designed so the little ones enjoy it too. Calabajío is a comfortable, family-friendly spot right on the beach.
Is there parking nearby?
There’s parking around Playa de Velilla-Taramay. We’re on Camino de la Galera, beside the seafront promenade; you can open the direct route with the “Get directions” button.
Do you host weddings, events and celebrations?
Yes. We host weddings, birthdays, communions, anniversaries and corporate events by the sea. We tailor menu and décor to make your day unforgettable. Tell us your idea and we’ll make it happen.
